Dr. Leslie K. Eisert, DVM

Dr. Leslie Eisert began her education at Ohio State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Art with a double major in Journalism and Political Science in 1987. She then graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Dr. Eisert’s years of practicing veterinary medicine includes medical oncology at the University of California, Davis. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association, and Valle del Norte Veterinary Medical Association.

When asked why she became a veterinarian, Dr. Eisert said,

" I became a veterinarian to effect change in the way society views animals. Essentially, to care for companion animals as we would want our pediatricians to care for our children."

Dr. Eisert lives in Santa Fe with her two dogs, Luke and Chaco. When she is not working, Leslie enjoys cooking and travelling internationally.
